This website is an introduction to the background of an individual who sought shelter in art.  It gives collectors and other art-lovers an opportunity to acquaint themselves with events that shaped Alixe FU’s art.  In the very beginning, Alixe made art without knowing how.  Eventually, he learnt how to but then lost the capacity to do so.  Deeply affected, he decided in 1984 to face the canvas without thinking about art: that is how he was reborn to art, finding a creative way of his own, leading to an art that is specifically his.Today, life goes on, as well as the recurring problems confronting any artist.

Studios >> In the early days, Alixe managed to produce, in a studio with a floor area of less than 80 sq. ft, works whose dimensions exceeded those of the room!  What is of essence, first and foremost, is the state of mind.  And this goes for smaller pieces too.  In the following pages, you will be able to visit Alixe’s previous studios as well as the current one, in Auvers-sur-Oise, or Taipei, New York, Beijing.
